The Story of S/V Rhythm

Welcome. Herein you'll find the story of Rhythm and her crew. Rhythm is a 1979 Pearson 424 sailboat, and her crew a couple folks from Bend, Oregon. Rhythm backed out of her slip out on G dock at Squalicum Harbor on August 1st, 2017, and started slowly working her way south. She's currently in the South Pacific. 


Turns out that sailors are prolific bloggers. So we're giving it a try, too.

The Boat

Rhythm is a sloop rigged 1979 Pearson 424. After almost 30 years in the Pacific Northwest she's back on the open ocean, and slowly making her way toward New Zealand.

The Crew

The Plan

Rhythm will spend the next several months in French Polynesia, and from there make her way to New Zealand.
